Irish wild deer society (IIRC) held a meeting in chair this sat just gone. They was a muntjac expert there and he was going to demonstrate how to recognize them and their sign.

Did anyone here go? and if so was it any good- I would have went but the wife was in hosp (nothing too serious)..

Attendance was very good and I think most of us learnt a lot about muntjac. Arno Dorfling of Mayogi Safaris also had a presentation of their cull and trophy hunt offers in South Africa. very tempting...
My son had visited them earlier this year and was very impressed with their setup.

Tiny, I think it's well worth joining. Apart from the seminars one has some contact to deer stalkers from all over Ireland. One also has people to fall back on when it comes to tricky situations or problems in our sport.

My membership form is on the way to them! It would be good to meet a few like minded people!
