deleting facebook profile

    anyone know how to permantly delete their facebook account, i dont want to just deactivate it i want it gone but cant find anywhere on facebook to let me do it

    Suspending it indefinitely is the only option, you could also delete every bit of info you possibly can on it, wall posts and photos etc.

    This is pretty much the way you have to do it. Pain in the arse, isn't it?

    Also, take into account that photos of you put up by other people will always be there. Unless you ask those people to take them down.

    I may have to delete one if I can't find a solution to this problem. Some guy has set up links which can only be seen when I am not logged in (yes NOT logged in). When I'm logged in, the comments in his link disappear. Sounds crazy but true. What has happened? Obviously when I log in, if I cannot see his comments, I can't delete them. But when I can see them, I'm not logged in, so I can't delete them then either).
