Possible to sign on before your due date?

My next signing date is in June but I am going to be out of the country for a couple of days (attending job interviews) and won't be able to sign on.

Would they let me sign a couple of days early? I realise I might lose a couple of days dole money but I obviously don't want to cancel job interviews because I have to go sign a piece of paper in the social welfare office...

Also, do your benefits automatically switch from post office payment to bank account payment once you've been receiving them for six months, or do you have to go to the SW office to request this?

I would visit them at the office with proof of your job interviews as reasons for you being out of the country and ask that you be allowed to sign before and after.

I would hope they wouldn't take holiday days off you since you're not really going on holidays you're looking for work, but if they do, it's better than them taking the dole money off you.
