A little late but sure, whatever.

Horrible loss of the Eagles on Saturday night. I was watching it in a small bar in Kalbarri (600kms north of Perth) with some very passionate locals. They take their footy very seriously in the little towns!

Fockers won again, and were good value for it.

Collingwood got bloody lucky against the Dees, and Geelong did enough to see off Hawthorn today.

I was in Kalbarri a few years ago, lovely spot

Delighted for the Dockers. They're off to a flying start. 2nd on the ladder for the first time ever (i know, its only after 2 games, but still :))
Gutted for the Eagles, hopefully they'll pick up their game as the season goes on.

7 goals for Setanta in two games, joint third in the listings.

Interesting weekend, I think the gap between the top teams and the next 8/9 isn't as large as it was in previous years. The last 3 or so spots in the 8 are gonna be seriously competitive.

Swans looked good, Kennelly has added a lot to their attack out of defence.

Fair play to Setanta as well, never going to be a Riewoldt or a Brown but you can't argue with 7 goals in 2 games
