Whirlpool under counter freezer

    Just inherited one of these and have no manual. Plugged it in and a green light came on. I set the dial to medium. But after 2 days it hasn't frozen inside. There's another button on the front which I think is fast freeze. I tried that. An orange light came on, but no joy after many hours.

    Any help appreciated.

    Sounds like it's short on gas or the compressor might be gone. Was it tilted on it's side for ages then plugged in?

    From the time I got it, it wasn't tilted on its side. It was out of use for about 5 months.

    If it wasn't tilted I'd check all the connections and if they're ok and it still doesn't work it's short on gas, broken thermostat or faulty compressor. One of those would be my guess

    if the comprossor is runing since you turned it on then you have a system fauly ie gas is gone or blocked if you have no noise them maybe its a stat or mtr or loose connection ect.
