Employment Statement

I'm in the process of applying for a visa to Australia and need to prove my employment history. From 2004 to 2006 I was employed by an agency but working on-site for one of their clients. Does anybody know how I would go about requesting a statement from the agency that confirms I was employed by them?

Ring them and ask for one...?

Yep, it's that simple. I've done lots of temp work with different agencies. Even if the consultant you dealt with is no longer there, you will be on their records and so they can write a letter saying you worked from this date to this date.

Also remember there's the tax office. When I applied for my visa I also had to get a record from the tax office detailing my history of paying tax while working, so it will show up there that you worked for the agency.

Best of luck with the application.
