heat exchanger on potterton suprema

    hi water leaking from potterton suprima (aparently its the heat exchanger) its about 12 years old . How much should it cost to get repaired? moving house so replacing whole boiler not an option!!!!:)

    A new heatexchanger will cost around 300 euro but more likely 350. fitting will be about 150-200 euro.

    Thats just from memory though

    You could try a few scrap metal dealers as this where most plumbers dispose of old boilers, personally i'd replace it with a modern condensing boiler.
    Remember it's illegal to do gas work unless you'r a registered gas installer R.G.I.
