Home made Anime attempt....

Heres 2 shots for an 'anime style' short I've been working on in my spare time. It was created with a 3d package called SoftImage, which was used a lot in the making of Tekkon Kinkreet.

Thats pretty cool, noticed the character design is gonna be Tekkon Kinkreet style (and proportions) too. Any preliminary sketches or story roughs or anything? Sorry if youve already posted them in another thread, this is my first post so I havent seen them.

Cheers lads, no sketches really to be honest, i generally roughly doodle them then begin my model from the sketch.

You're cell shading the 3d renders? Very nice!
It's a decent mix of eastern and western too by the way, would have been easy to just pick a known style and carbon copy it.

It's really nice thing to have a hobby You're really good in... that's for sure. I really hail to your hard work since I doubt that doing alone a whole animation is something anyone can do... it's much, much work (I'm to lazy to even think of doing such thing ^^').

Animation seem interesting enough to hook me up waiting for it's evolution ^^

Cheers, I do alot of 2d/3d stuff as my fulltime job so im my spare time its allways cool to persue my own particular interest
