Right, i have a gap between my two front teeth which is apparently, because of a piece of skin between them (frenum ?).
Is there anyway that i can still have my teeth straightened and how it would be done, and also the costs

    Hello

You can still have the teeth straightened. The frenum is the tag under your upper lip and is supposed to receed as the adult teeth erupt but if you have spacing, small teeth or an unusually large frenum it can persist.

You may need to have the frenum removed which is a minor procedure under local anaesthetic. You can have braces as normal but need to be careful about long term retention so you dont get a space returning in the upper teeth after the braces are removed
