Dog Barking

I have exams coming up in a few weeks. The college library is not an ideal place for me to study, so I hoped to study at home. My neighbour's dog has been barking for two hours straight.

He is outside with other dogs who are nice and quiet. He is not underfed or distressed - just yappy.

He also barks at night when I'm trying to sleep. The only morning in months I could lie in, there he was, yapping away.

I can't talk to the owners, as they have recently experienced an unfortunate change in circumstances, and are not the most approachable bunch anyway. The dog was like that long before this, though. Just writing now because it's really disturbing my study.

Let it be clear that I neither dislike dogs nor the family - I just really need to study, and was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a solution.

    Thank you.

Sorted it out! I have someone to stay with for a few weeks.

If a moderator could lock this, that'd be great. Thank you.

Good for you, but you shouldn't have to move out of your place of residence to get some peace and quite because your neighbours dog won't shut up. I don't think PI would be the best forum but there are solutions to the dog problem.
