Just looking for some advice on what to put on my CV as I'm looking for a summer job. Nothing fancy, just supermarkets, shops, pubs, etc.

I finished my Leaving Cert last year and have started college this year.

Any help is much appreciated :)

    Do you have any experience?

I do actually. Prob should have mentioned that!

I worked / helped out in a pub from 2002-2005 and worked in an internet cafe from 2006-2008.

    I also helped with painting a house one summer...2007 I think? :P

Is there any reason in particular you put down hobbies?

It's been said to me before I've never listed them on a CV

After speaking to a few managers about this it seems it is better to include rather than exclude hobbies. I came up with the following for an article I'm writing about CVs:

    Hobbies

This section contains your hobbies and is used to summarise your personality. Try to mention a physical hobby, an intellectual hobby, a creative hobby, and a social hobby. If possible, tailor your hobbies to suit the position you are applying for. For example, if you are applying for a voluntary position, mention your charity work and any other selfless pursuits. It is also important you do not mention anything which could make the employer think you might be a risky hire.
