Ipod touch screen not cracked, but not responding after a fall...

    wife let her ipod touch fall in the gym, it fell on the bottom corner and since then the bottom part of the screen where you slide to unlock it is unresponsive. its well out of warranty, is there any hope or should i bin it?

    You could try two things-
    1.Let the power drain completely out and then charge it.
    2.Reset it now by holding down the 'menu' button and with this button pressed hold down the middle circular button.Hold these two buttons until it resets and restarts.
