Yeah it's the GOTY edition, saw it in gamestop a few weeks ago, has anyone try'd it ?

Yeah it's been out for a week, and also has a few of the DLC packages pre-installed on it.

It isn't the full-blown Avatar-esque 3D though, it's the old-school one with the cardboard glasses and coloured lenses.

Would ruin the whole point of HD for me I reckon.

I haven't played this yet but will prob just go for the normal version when I do unless they are the same price.

Really good game, id recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it yet.

It's not the same 3D you'll find in the cinemas, but it's not quite the old school 3D either. They are paper glasses but the colours are different to the old red/green tinted ones. It doesn't look as blurred or distracting as the old 3D style.

The effect works (at times) but I found it to be a strain on my eyes after a few minutes. Fun to try it for a while, but couldn't play the whole game in 3D.

Looks like we'll have to wait for 3D ready TVs with the shutter glasses and the firmware update before we will be enjoying 'proper' 3D on the PS3!

bought this the other day. the 3d effect does work but like mentioned above does strain the eyes. luckily you can switch the 3d off and play the game as normal.

great game. i'm loving it so far.

Fantastic game, playing through the original 2d version at the moment and haven't enjoyed a game so much in years.
