    Sad but inevitable given the extent of the misuse of poisons in Irish farming - why is the government still releasing these birds if they can't be bothered to do anything about the activities of the scumbags behind this carnage??. Its rapidly becoming an animal welfare issue since its obvious these projects will surely fail given the sheer number of these endangered birds that are now being illegally killed every spring:mad:

    To be fair, there have been no findings published as to the cause of death just yet. Maybe hold back on the condemnations until we know the full facts folks. I am as sad and angry as everyone else here but feel we should know the facts first.

    Fair point - but the evidence so far from the mounting death toll with regards to all 3 projects over the last number of springs all points in one direction:(
