    What is the actual benefit of a USB Soundcard ?
    also what is a good one to buy ?
    Prices seem to be anywhere from 2.99/4.99 to 59.99/75.00.
    That seems a huge spread.

    I think its aimed at laptops as an addon as opposed to internal pci ones for a pc.

    I was thinking of using it with a Dell Inspiron 1720.
    If I do, what can I expect to "see" ?
    and again what about price ?
