Ok folks, a "visitor" wants a load of peat. What's the damage?

Irreparable destruction of our native boglands and their ecology?

Sorry, I don't know the price of peat, but I love the smell of a turf fire - unbeatable :D

First bit of advice is to start calling them turf, not peat.
Secondly, ask a nearby farmer where he would buy a load of turf. Alternatively he could get some cut and save them himself.
