    They are all rebadged MTD machines, the same as Mr Bricolage, and lots of others, you can buy these very affordably that don't have the Husky name and paint.
    I would recommend that you go for Hydrostatic drive it makes it a lot easier to drive, 12.5 and 15 hp not a lot of difference TBH
    The twin cylinder models are a lot smoother and gruntier than the singles like the Kohler and B+S.
    Look around and if you aren't hung up on the Husky name you should be able to buy one of these mowers better than that price.

    Totally agree with CJ. There are few original models these days. Most are re-badges. The manufacturers use their "good name" so because Husky make good chain saws one assumes that their ride-ons must be good. Their out front riders are excellent but like every other manufacturer they have a budget range.

    Most ride-ons are American & there lies the problem in that they are not good at collecting wet grass.

    What are the cheap brands before they are re-badged.
