memory loss.....

    hi,i had to send my laptop for repair as it was freezing and not downloading,now since i got it back it's working perfect but nearly all my memory is gone,before it went i had about half of my memory left now its nearly full,any input on this or how to get my space back?

    When you say memory do you mean hard disk space?
    How much space did you have before repair and how much after?
    Did the repair involve a fresh install of your existing operating system or was a newer/differant operating system installed?
    Where did you get it repaired?
    Not to jump to any conclusions but just to speculate on how much everybody think some independant "computer Guys" indulge in component harvasting, aka theft, from clients machines?

    i had roughly half my diskspace before being sent for repair now i only have a couple of gb,he did a complete system restore,which i have since found out i could of done myself with the disc that came with the laptop!!!!!!!
    someone else said something about partitioning?????
