Galway on Easter Monday?

Going up to Galway City for the Day on Easter Monday. Seeing as it's a Bank Holiday, and it's Easter Monday what would the story be with Shops open and whatnot? Is it worth going up to for shopping on that day?

Most shops will be on on Easter Monday, typically with Sunday opening hours..

Eyre Sq shopping centre had signs about being open 12-7.

Various other shops have signs about opening at 11, 12, 1 ....
