    He discovered an almost useless exploit in Other OS that has not helped get the main PS3 OS get hacked in any way or form.     Wrong...You can keep OtherOS by not installing the update....therefore feature has not been disabled...

    Great so I can keep OtherOS but i'll lose the ability to connect to PSN and play online. I won't be able to play any games that require the new patch and I won't be able to update my PS3 ever again.

    The feature has been disabled, simple as that. I don't blame Sony, I blame Geohot for his useless hack.

    All of this is discussed in the other thread (linked above). If you don't update you won't be able to: Play online, Play new games, get your PS3 repaired by Sony.

    Mods - Perhaps this thread should be closed as the other (much larger) one exists?
