Why cant i play cod waw online

hey, iv no problems playing mw2 online,
but cant play waw online, its looking for an update version 1.07
it takes for ever to update it and it pauses somewhere in the middle of it.

i updated the newest update yesterday.

when iv the game in, update comes up but i can back out of the update,
and get as far as the play online screen.
press play online and then iv to sign in AGAIN.
cant sign in.
get as far as find game,
looks for the update again.
if i dont update, its the same thing all over again.

im 4 or 5mg download and have a netgear router.

any help would be great, im sick of scrolling through forums to find an answer.

think iv a similar problem with resistance.

I remember a mate with the exact same problem for a different game , but the same thing it wouldnt update it, i'm trying to think of what he did to fix it , if he is on tonight i'll ask him.

cheers lad, its just annoying really.
never played it online, just wanted to see the difference.

well iv a 1,000 minutes left to download and itl stop halfway :rolleyes:
only making 1.5mb today.

He wasnt online but i seem to remember that he deleted the map pack then redownloaded it and problem solved ,so if you have any mappacks delete then redownload them, this was for the xbox that his problem happened.

nop have no maps, never played it online at all, i mite delete all the saved data for it and see what happens.
