    hi all,

am thinking of replacing my sd sky+ box with the humax foxsat 320gb box.

my sky box is in the attic and i use it on 3 tv's around the house. can i do the same with the humax? hdmi connection is something i'm unsure about, can i run 2 hdmi leads to 2 of my tv's and just have sd on the other?

can i buy long lenghts of hdmi leads, if so where? i presume unlike analogue there would be little drop with digital?

also can i do anything with my old sky+ box? any way to keep using it as a pvr?

    many thanks.

No I don't think you can do the same with the humax - the humax does not have an RF out like the sky box does.

It has a singal HDMI output (+ scart of course) - you can probably get 10m cables - certainly 5m.

You best bet is to do it properly - quad LNB, 2 feeds to the Humax @ the main tv.

You could then use one of the 2 remaining feeds to feed the existing sky box - and use it just like now without recording feeding the other 2 tv's.
