Student Summer Job Scheme

    Hi,

I was a student from '96-2000 (am I that old???) and in the summers of '97 / '98 I participated in the "Student Summer Job Scheme". As far as I remember, it was £600 for 6 weeks work. I'm not even sure if this is still going!

I am hoping to teach english abroad next year (JET). My student scheme was working with kids in a summer sports camp (teaching them basketball/football etc). I think this experience would look good on the JET application form.. however I don't know where to get official records of my time there!

Do you think the JET application form would need official proof I was working there? If so, is there any government department that would have these records? Or should I just go back to the community center where I worked (I doubt they would have anything kept for so long).

    Any help appreciated! Thanks!
