    Hi,

Would Google, or other search-engines or directories, penalize a site site for using a 301 redirect from one keyword friendly domain to the existing established domain.
What I mean by this is; if there was a business that has been established a few years and has got some press etc so they dont want to simply change the domain name in full but they would like to make their site as easy to find and improve page-rank as much as possible.
Is it possible/allowable to keep the existing domain, lets call it www.daveandjack.com and also purchase www.daveandjackbrewary.com, and have a 301 redirect from the 1st to the 2nd URL?
    Thanks for reading.
