I sign on by post too. But every 3 months I am required to go into town and sign on in person. They send me out a blue docket informing me to sign on during the week starting ***.

I'd be very wary. Phone your local office immediately and check out the situation. The form MIGHT have got lost in the post but the consequences of not signing on are dire.
