Dundrum, 9am, under the Luas bridge for anyone interested. Perhaps 80 to 100km and aiming to be home by lunch.

My idea was to review the weather situation in the morning, but was thinking of perhaps Bohernabreena and then a lap of the lakes.

I need to be back by lunchtime, hence the 9am start. I'll play it by ear regarding snow. If there's any I'm inclined to turn around and try a different route.

The lambs most likely will be... Spring lambs are too small for good eating at the moment -you'll be tucking into Christmas lamb if that's your easter thing this weekend :)

-tomorrow's not good for me, but I might get out Sun or Mon

Great spin with godihatedhills and levitronix. Weather held up and I got just over 90km done. On the way we saw aidan.offbeat and blorg at the start for the Gorey 3 Day and then ran into a shattered emty on my way home who'd just done the Fleche, non-stop 450km.

Any idea how the route through Glenmacnass is? Is it still full of loose road crap?

N.O.T and me left early afternoon towards Bohernabreena, Sally Gap, Glencree and back via Stocking lane. 76km and 1076m of climbing.

Overdressed for the first 40 km and under-dressed for the last 36km.

Sallygap is impassable ish, but was ok, just a couple hundred metres at the top on the flat bit that was covered in show. It was ok overall.

From that point, we got rained on, hailed on, frozen, wet ... not nice! Couldn't feel hands, feet, nose, brain ...

Nice to see the tax man out and about on his bike on Bohernabreena.

Well if it's any consolation I got dumped on too. Got as far as Firhouse and the heavens opened. Just got home before the hail started. My thoughts went out to you guys up there.:(

BTW my planned route towards Blessington was prematurely cut short due to the bridge over the Liffey, marked on the map, been taken out at some stage and is currently under construction. Completely impassable.

Hi The Tax Man you could have went straight on and headed for Manor Kilbride and gone to Blessington that way

I'd come from that direction after going over Bohernabreena and coming down onto the road between the gap and Kilbride. I had just planned on cycling a road(Gap rd) towards Lacken I hadn't covered in years. Thanks anyway.:)
