I have a single LNB on my motorised system. A receiver in the bedroom and one in the kitchen. I'm using the out of the box in the bedroom to feed the box in the kitchen. Its a bit of a pain as only one box can be watched at a time. Is it an option to have a quad or dual LNB and at least i could have the 2 boxes running with channels from the same sat? Also if this was the case which box would have control over of the dish???

Its quite difficult to get a twin or dual lnb now so get a quad. The usual way a motorised works is that a cable from the box with the mootor facility is connected, lnb to motor cable, then cable from motor to lnb. then run a direct cable from the other outlet on lnb to other sat box. This works a treat and to make it simple, if on 28east one could watch bbc on one and itv on other. And if both of the e boxes have rf outlets you could link other tv's.

ebay is good for quad lnb's. You dont say size of dish!! I am in clare with a 1.1m gilbertini with a USALS stab motor with an invacom quad and more than one box.

Thanks for the advice, i ordered a Technomate Quad from Ebay, think it worked out at about 40 euro, Dish i have at the moment is 90cm so an upgrade to 1.1m would definitely be on the cards.:)
