sky repairing

    lads the problems withmy sky plus box is wrecking my head, i want to get someone out from sky to fix it, will i have to pay this person or will sky cover it, whats the number to ring to get someone out

    Is your equipment still under 1 year warranty

    Did you get it from sky directly by phoning them or did you get from a independant sales man ie, Sky kiosk, local shop, door to door.

    Sky will charge you €120 call out fee to get one of their sub/sub contractors to call out.
    You could try your local tv shop or Aerial rigger/dish installer. It would be a cheaper call out fee. What problems have you got with you equipment.

    it fails to record anything, when i set it to record i cant watch any other programes, it also has stopped pausing and rewinding, tried resetting it and no good, any idea what a replacement box would cost

    Sky will only give you a reconditioned box and 12 week warranty.

    www.signalsolutions.tv Based in Cork would be your best bet
