    Does somebody work for them or do you know what questions or test are on interview???
    I have tomorrow interview with them... :)


    Position : Computer Repair Engineer


    Computers Unlimited are a well-established Equipment Repair and Data Recovery company based in Phibsboro, Dublin 7, specialising in the repair and data recovery on computer and other related equipment. We now have a vacancy for an experienced Experienced Computer Repair Engineer to join our growing team providing repair and support services to our customers. You will be responsible for resolving all types of problems on computers, servers and laptops including Apple Mac’s.

    The role involves:


    • Recreating the original reported fault or complaint
    • Diagnosing using software and hardware all problems to root cause
    • Utilising equipment and techniques to analyse and resolve technical problems
    • Researching solutions to problems not previously seen
    • Supporting the other team members in the resolution of problems
    • Finding and using new tools to improve the performance of the team
    • Developing new techniques and tools, to improve teams performance
    • Dismantling and assembling equipment including Mac and Notebooks
    • Downloading all appropriate software including drivers to resolve problems
    • Configuring equipment and peripherals for specific customer applications
    • Training and mentoring junior members of team in best practices
    • Ensuring throughput targets are achieved
    • Updating the tracking system to clearly outline all materials used and technical activity taken
    The ideal candidate should have the following experience/Qualifications

    • Qualified with a Degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering or Mathematics
    • Fluent/advanced written and spoken English
    • Experience in a Computer/MAC IT equipment repair or support centre dealing with a broad variety of hardware and software problems
    • Advanced knowledge of Computer architecture and software tools and operating systems including Windows, MAC and Unix/Linux platforms
    • Knowledge and experience working with various Disk and Solid state storage devices and techniques
    • Experience in a lead technical role in a similar environment
    • Knowledge of Notebook construction and Apple systems an advantage
    • Ability to set up, support and administrate simple networks
    • Knowledge of PHP and MY SQL an advantage

    Prepare for what, its a job interview for a technical role which would appear to be basic desktop/laptop repair and network troubleshooting. You will either be able to answer their questions and provide a decent level of experience and knowledge or not.
