    Just came across this;

    "The "Tae Party" will campaign against the banking bailouts announced by Finance Minister Brian Lenihan in the Dáil on Tuesday."

    http://www.insideireland.ie/index.cfm/section/news/ext/teaparty001/category/1084

    Although, an Irish Tea Party would have a lot more sense to it than the American version, a lot less loons as well!

    No it can't be an April fool. The spokesperson is called McOmadaun. That doesn't sound like an April fool to me

    The Irish would respond better to a Beer Party.

    It's actually half believable, until the last line:
    Mr McOmadawn strongly rejected accusations that the Tae Party was not actually concerned about the bailout money, but was motivated by a dislike of Offaly people
