    Hi all,

There was a quiz show on childrens tv, I think it was ITV in the late 80's and aired once per week. It was hosted by a blond guy with glasses I think and featured a transparent glode which spun around and the teams were asked questions on where it stopped. A voice spoke the name of the place on the globe when it stopped. It featured locations like 'the galapagos Islands'. I think it was called something like 'where in the world' but cannot find anything on it. Does anyone know what this program was called please?

    All help appreciated :D

No no all. I can understand your confusion about the name of the show but it was not that crappy Irish quiz on Sunday nights ;)

This was a british childrens tv quiz show aired on itv. Maybe it was called 'around the world'?

yes OP, i remember it too, it was presented by David "kid" Jensen. I watched it as a kid myself, and the only thing i can remember about it was at one point the contestants would stop at the azores. I had never heard of the azores before.

and the name (i had to google it)

    "Worldwise"
