    Hi
    home game,
after 2 hours player has to leave, had decent amount of chips what happens:
    1. chips withdrawn from play
    2. chiped away.
In a tourney could see later due to effect on all tables.
In a home game or single table all players effected the same by taking them away. If left to chip away would be an advantantage to player to his right.
I would therefore take away what do others think?

Normally in a tournament, they are just ante and blinded away. If a tournament starts where a player may be late but he has registered, then the chips are again ante and blinded away...so the same rule should apply to the guy leaving.
But then again, it could come down to that specific tournament's rules but generally, the above stated comes into play. Hope this helps!

Generally, in any tournament I have played in, when a stack is left on the table it is just blinded/anted away. Whether the player will be back or not is immaterial; as long as the stack is still on the table it is usually blinded out.

This could, however, vary from tournament to tournament and house rules obviously apply to each case.

    Hope this helps!

If its a tournament you would generally ante/blind it, but if your playing at home let the guy go with his money
