Moderators I hope I am not offending anyone by posting this here.

Im new to this country and looking for a source of dogmeat for my traditional dishes.
In my country we catch and use strays after boiling them to remove parasites.

I usually use www.puppybeef.com but I am not sure if they deliver to Ireland.

Also I would like to share a recipe with you for "lemon grass dog" and if anyone is interested I have an excellent cat recipe aswell.Once again if this is the wrong forum I can move it to food and drink.
Mod edit--It was suggested to this user that maybe small game may replace the dog meat in these dishes so Im moving it to the hunting forum as approved by the mods there.

    Thank you.
    Lemongrass Dog
    1. Acquire two pounds of dog meat. Try to ensure that it is from a medium-sized dog; the breed does not matter, unless you have certain preferences. Usually, the local flea market will have six or seven stands that specialize in dog meat.
    2. Mince four 3-feet stalks of fresh lemongrass. (Alternatively, use an 8 oz. package of frozen minced lemongrass.)
    3. Mix the minced lemongrass with three tablespoons of Vietnamese fish sauce, two teaspoons of lime juice, and a half teaspoon of lime zest. A brand I like to use is Three Crabs Brand, but all in all, fish sauce tends to taste the same.
    4. Chop the dog meat into 1-inch pieces. Add the lemongrass marinade and stir. Leave the mixture refrigerated overnight.
    5. Either sauté, steam, or grill the meat. My favorite way to cook this dish is to skewer the meat chunks and roast it in a rotisserie oven.

Hi guangghi, as you a new user to the site you can be forgiven for the mistake, but this isn't a forum to discuss how to eat animals. In fact most of the users here will be offended at your post and you may receive some negative remarks. I have reported the post so hopefully a moderator will be along soon enough to move your thread to the right forum.

Would the food and drink forum be a better place for this?

I dont understand the problem.I only asked if anywhere here sells dog meat...maybe the greyhound forum would be better??

They dispose of animlas that arent fast enough and maybe I can help out in that disposal.

His cat dish is even better!!

BEER ROASTED CAT DO NOT USE BEER--Use the black stuff.
    1 cat cut into roast
1 can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup
    1 cube of beef bouillon
    1 clove of garlic
1 Fine Irish Stout, a lot like a popular dark Irish Beer®, but NOT that brand at their lawyers' request. They alledge this article, educating others in the legal eating habits of over 100 million people world-wide, and specifically in rising East Asian markets, is "highly offensive."

Scraped CatCover and soak cat roast in salt water for 24 hours. Drain water and then cover and soak in beer for 6 hours. Drain and place in crock pot with your cans of soup. Add a clove of garlic, and a cube of beef bouillon. If you start to slow cook your cat in the morning with your George Foreman Cooker (or it's ilk), you'll have finely cooked feline in time for supper.

If a slow cooker is not available, a cat can be baked at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours in a conventional oven and still come out pretty good. Beer Roasted Cat is fantastic served with mashed potatoes, collard greens, and fresh, homemade egg rolls. When planning a full meal just remember- cat is a course best served hot!
