    yea i was supposed to pick up moneys tomorrow...did you happen to ask if they were open on saturday? can you even pick up the dole on saturdays?

    Nope, Friday is a Bank (but not a public) Holiday. Post offices always close on Bank Holidays, but there are usually postal deliveries.

    Normal opening on Saturday...

    monies that were due to be collected on Friday m could have been collected today.

    Money to be collected Monday can pick it up Saturday.

    It tells you the dates on socialwelfare.ie just click payments over Easter holidays.:D

    Ugh, I forgot to collect my dole on Wed

    Do you think it'll be there on Saturday, or was Friday the last day to collect it?

    If so, what do u do abt a missed payment?

    My pay day is wensdays but i sometime's collect on Saturday's it's fine where i am anyway

    Just saw this thread, was going to start one myself. I've to pick up a package from a sorting office and am waiting for delivery of other items (tracking number has shown "on route to customer" since late yesterday). Does anyone know if the sorting offices are open and if all deliveries are definitely taking place?

    Mee too :) but just the small ones, I'm expecting a parcel too, so I wonder are the van drivers working too and I wonder if the sorting offices are open?
