I really hope this does not happen http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/82586

I am totally against this. If we had a tyre war now and Ferrari and Red Bull were on different tyres, it would be terrible. At any given weekend, whick ever tyre was the best would win.

You would know the name of the winning team by Friday afternoon in alot of cases.

I say NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

    I HATE TYRE WARS

Dont think its a joke. I doubt they would use real company names in something as high profile as F1 is it were a joke

Not sure if this is April fools article or not but if it's true I don't see what is wrong with it. When there was two suppliers it was never a forgone conclusion because of it, sure some weekends one team had an advantage but it shaked the championship up because different teams had an edge different weekends.

If it was any other tyre company I'd probably think it's legit but after all the crap between the FIA and Michelin at the end of their last stint in the sport I can't see them coming back just because Jean Todt is in charge now, and then to make rumblings on April Fools Day. I'm a little skeptical much as I'd love to see them back and lift tyre restrictions.

The solution to to overtaking is

    1) Standard hard tyre ( longer braking zone)
    2) Steel brakes ( longer braking zone )
    3) More powerful engine. Maybe a V10 at 21,000 rpm ( to help compensate for slower lap times from point 1 and 2
