    Hi all,

Since upgrading my two standard sky digiboxes to sky +hd boxes I can no longer use teletext on both my tv's - 42" panasonic plasma + 22" lg lcd. When I press the tv button and then the text button nothing happens at all. Previously this worked fine and I could view teletext. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong. I have tried different channels, RTE, TV3 etc. but still no joy?

Any help appreciated. Apologies if this is a dumbass question:o

Are you using HDMI cables to connect to tellys? Afaik, text doesn't work over HDMI.

Text will not work over a HDMI Cable.

Quick solution, if your tv has one, also connect your HD box to your tv via scart and you should be able to get text. Also make sure that the channel is on the one for the scart and not HDMI.

I am using HDMI to connect to each of the TV's. Cheers for clearing that up guys, I didn't realise text doesn't work over HDMI.

    @ Danny_B, I'll try that as a workaround thanks :)
