I like the styling of these. Wouldnt mind owning one.
How much would something like this sell for. This particular one needs some arches and tidying but is a one owner car.

Piece of string question... 500 to 5k.
All depends on condition. Could be just the arches or it could be the bulkhead and floor are about to fall out. These hide rust very well and when you can see it on the outside it's usually been festering away in the sills and bulkhead for some time.

I dont know anything about them really. Just Ive seen one or two & starting to like the appearance of them.
The slightly earlier ones look better with a much more classic interior & steering wheel.

A friend of mine picked one up last month for small money but its badly
rotted underneath, the MBtex interiors hold up well but floorpans and chassis and rear shock mounts are prone to rustng badly,if the rear of the car appears to be sagging the rear shockmounts are finnished.
The 6cyl models usually fetch more and are sought after

The seller is asking £2900 sterling. Would be better to buy a perfect one I figure. They dont seem to be huge money anyway.

These 114 Coupe's hide their problems very well. The car can be rotten without anyone spotting it.

Therefore prices differ a lot: you see some car advertised for as little as 2-4k, but they would be most definitely absolute basket cases, and top examples with top spec fetch 10-15k !!!

To be honest, if you want a good, useable and mechanically good car, you will need at least 6k-8k for a good example. Anything under and you could be looking at some serious work down the line.
