Kind of a strange one here. Possibly doesn't belong in photography, but i thought this might be the best place to ask about memory cards.

I'm looking for a place that sells:

Sandisk 4g SDHC sd card (SDSDB-4096-E11)

A manufacturer recommends it as compatible with their product and I've been asked to locate a supply of them :/

Anyways, I found Amazon resellers with them, not really a viable option as they dont ship here, and I also found myMemory.co.uk has them, again not really viable because if ordered more than 3 at a time we would liable for vat&duty

Any other places you can recommend?

    (slightly related question)-
how does it matter what brand memory card I have?
If I'm shooting images only (no video) how does different brand matter?
Might be slower in uploading to laptop?
slower to process on memory card but does this effect me in any way?
    Pa

    It doesnt
Only if you bounce off the buffer a faster card might better keep up with the camera.
Yes it might but it depends on the reader
    Not really

A quick google.ie search throws up loads of suppliers of this specific card, most of whom I'd consider reliable.

I'd probably go with komplett myself though

I really doubt it does matter, but I've been asked to get this particular one by the people who pay me and I'm not going to argue!

I did do a bit of googling for it, obviously my google skills are failing, thanks for the recommendations.

witness me, I have one here that I bought and found another few, if you want, I could sell it to you at cost price. You can see it working etc if you want.

Just read your thread fully there.

I bought it in Tralee in a local chemist if thats any good, also, I think argos stock them too.
