I am looking for this figure in their annual results release yesterday and can't find it (I assume they have not done the maths for people to see) so I think I will have to work it out myself.

What deposit and loan figures do I need? I mean there is an "average total customers deposits figure" but will that include business/bank deposits etc

Basically theres a fair few figures and I am coming up with a % of around 200% which seems high (even for Anglo). Has anyone seen the figure report in the media today or yesterday?

Okay well what I went with is as follows.

    Pre Nama : 72/35 (roughly)

After First Transfer: 62/36 (Roughly) not sure if I should have chnaged the figure to take the €5bn they are getting for that loan

Post Nama: 36/35: Which seems awfully low but maybe deposits will decrease by the time NAMA is through?

Where are you getting the €35bn figure for deposits? I think it's around €27bn?

Cheers, I think the €35bn includes other bank's deposits.

Gid the €27bn figure really was hidden away there.

    so we have around 72/27 = 260%

    or post-Nama 36/27 = 133%

BOI did the calculations in their results. Found it interesting that BOI's results say they are transferring €15bn to NAMA - this was their original estimate alright but recently it had been strongly speculated that this would fall to 12.
