We're doing our thank you cards at the moment and I'm a bit stuck for what to say. Has anyone any suggestions? We don't want poems or any of that stuff just a nice sentence thanking people.

Is it for gifts? If so, it's nice to thank them for the specific gift and then tell them what you're using it for. For example, "Thank you so much for the KitchenAid stand mixer! Baking is so much easier and we've already made several batches of cookies. Next time you come over, we'll be sure to share!" or if it's just for coming, say something like, "Thank you so much for making the trip to come to our wedding. We really loved having you there and your signature dance moves really livened up the party! It wouldn't have been the same without you."

Rather than a generic 'thank you for your gift, we really appreciate it' that could be used for anything, just try to be as specific as possible so each thank you card feels personal.
