    Hi everyone,

Ok..my phobia is not normal, well I dont think so anyways. Just wondering does anyone else share it..?
I CANNOT and WILLNOT walk on gym room, public shower, gym shower tiles without shoes on. The mere thoughts of it sends my blood cold. I have tried to use flip flops but still feel like the germs are getting in. The thoughts of it makes me feel sick...anyone else get this feeling? The showers are the worse..knowing that someone else has washed their filth away minutes before me...BLUGGhh! I would like to add that I am in no ways a clean freak or have any type of OCD! just freaks me out!

anyone else have a starnge phobia to make me feel better? :):o

I have a fear of sponge foam. Not all kinds! just the packing kind that's similar to cheap sponge. Or on some headphones, or hangers.

I can't touch it, I break out into a sweat if I see it near me and my hands start wringing involuntarily as if it's in my hands and I have to get it away.

I have to get as far away from it as possible or make somebody put it in the bin and close the top so I can't see it and there's no chance of me touching off it.

I work in retail and sometimes it's left on hangers by accident. One time a customer asked me to take the hangers off as he didn't want to keep them and I nearly started hyperventilating with the thoughts of trying to do it! I had to get him to do it and give him the bin to put it in.

Sad how something so insignificant can turn you into a blubbering
    mess.

yeah, mine is weird too. im terrified of seeds. not in the sense of running screaming from a melon, but if i see them ill get all sweaty and feel nauseous and me heart rate goes mad.
its not just seeds though, its seed-like things too, like cobble locking with the small roundy bricks, or when the roots grow out of a potato etc.
    im a freak!

OK you are the first person that probably doesn't think I am nuts with this thing. I absolutely hate sponge it makes me feel nauseous. Whenever I buy a makeup compact with a foam thing I have to get one of my friends to remove it. It just turns my stomach, touching it makes me want to be physically sick. I hate when its the packaging around stuff like electrical things. Whatever yo do don't go into Ikea mattress section they have kinda bits of mattress with all the layers of foam so you can see it when you're buying it. Was there when my brother was buying one Ugh

Some of those make up compacts are awful -skin crawling foam - but not all, wierdly!
Never even looked at the mattresses in Ikea now I'll be avoiding it at all costs.
Even the thoughts of it have me wringing my hands. Shudder....

I had a friend who had a fear of cotton wool. He was a big tough guy too. It was mighty funny back in school, chasing him around the corridors!

Another friend was deathly afraid of jelly. Just the way it jiggled. She would fall of a chair to get away from it. Hi-larious!

No you definitaly have a phobia. A fear of snakes is to some extent normal as depending on the snake, it is capable of hurting you.

Nail clippings on the other hand is a phobia as its irrational:D

I don't have a fear of these shapes, but they grossed me out hideously. But maybe I have a slight phobia in this area, cause at the last 10 seconds of the clip my scalp started to itch. But it could have also have been a coincidence.

That being said, mine is of heights. A common one I know. But even seeing someone I know standing on a balcony makes my legs start to tingle painfully.
