Apologies if there's an existing thread on this, but is there anywhere in Dublin you can buy mead? If so, how much, and what's a good brand.

The only commercial mead I know on sale in Dublin is Rabbit's Foot, available in sweet and dry forms. I've seen it in Lilac Wines in Fairview, Redmond's of Ranelagh and Deveney's of Rathmines, but it might be worth phoning ahead in case they don't have it. Price is about €20.

And before someone says it, Bunratty Mead isn't a mead, it's a pyment: wine flavoured with honey.
