    :confused:Training for 50K. I am following the ultraladies 50K guide/schedule. Long runs are 20, 22 ,24, 26 X 4, with a 10 miler the following day. every secondn weekend is a 10/10 combo.

Why would the 10 miler not be first? YOu would still be training yourself to run on tired legs but they would have had some recovery? Can you swop them around or is there a specific reason why. I am a bit concerned that I will injure myself. Am doing my first 20/10 this weekend.

Also , do you need to do the 10 on the Sunday? Would it be less beneficial to do the long runs on saturday with some of the distance done at a faster pace and do the 10 on another day during the week as a tempo run?

I will also be doing the Goofy next year where the half marathon is on the first day and the full is on the second day. should I swop the days around for this one specifically?
    Thanks in anticipation :)
