GS heat pump elec power consumption

I'm finally getting around to monitoring the electrical usage of our GSHP.

It is a Dunstar (manuf. Geostar) GSHP , using 2 vertical 150m depth closed loop boreholes.

I purchased an Effergy kWhr wireless monitor recently and I am surprised to see approx 6kW average over and above my baseload added whenever the heat pump compressor is running.
I was told to expect approx 3.8kW max.
I realise that the circulatory pumps run in tandem with the HP heat exchange compressor. However, 6kW looks well off the scale in terms of what I'd have expected to have seen.
I'm pretty sure the Effergy is accurate. When no other major appliances are running and the kettle comes on it shows an extra 2.7-3kW usage which is within the range the kettle manufacturer specifies.

I'll get the exact model number of the Dunstar HP to see if other posters see the same kind of usage.
I know Qwerty (almost a neighbour) was monitoring his NIBE HP a while back.

I've sent a PM to one of the posters who is familiar with the Dunstar appliance.
