Finding 40k events

So apart from the traditional gaming cons (Warpcon, gaelcon etc.), are there dedicated 40k events in Ireland - and if so where and when, and is there any Irish wargaming forums I can go to find out more?

I think most of the conventions tend to have a wargames component, which generally includes 40k. Beyond that, check with your local gaming store (assuming you have one) as that would be the next likeliest place for tournament organisation.

Warmaster

There are quite a few wargaming events in the country at this stage.

^that's the forum of the Warheads, a Dublin based club which discusses events and tactics a lot. We also run a few of the wargaming side of things around the country.

Warcon is a summer event in Athlone that may interest you, it's a con I set up just for wargaming about 4 years ago and it's still going strong, it's now run by the Midland Marauders of Athlone.
