gas spewing out

    hey lads i have a kj works p229 it keeps spitting out the gas after 4-5 shots can any1 help me please dont have a clue wat it is

    Hard to say without further information.

    Which end of the magazine is the gas leaking out from? Have you oiled the magazine, if so what sort of lubricant did you use?

    At a guess (without having any further information) I'd say that the valve is sticking.

    Try lubricating it with a good quality silicone oil and seeing how this goes.

    Post more info and I may be able to help you a bit better.

    yes has been oiled with silicone from mia the small bottle valve seem to be ok moving fine without any sticking ps its coming straight out the barrell

    Your mag might be too cold. Try filling it at room temperature, then when full, warm it up for a while. Then see how it fares. The performance difference should be extremely noticible.

    Are you using your GBB outside?
    With the cold weather were having at the moment your mag is probably just venting the gas. Warming the mags like Inari said should sort the problem.

    sorted lads left beside the fire not to close just to warm up got through the mag without venting gas any1 know wer they sell winter gas

    Isnt winter gas just pure propane?

    Best winter gas = CO2 :P But yeah, Hobby Airsoft sell winter Gas. I have it, and use it, but it will still suffer the cool down effects.

    Yeah CO2 is best. Does the winter gas actually make a noticeable difference?
