Vodaone iPhone - Contact Numbers Not Names Appearing

Hi just received my iphone this morning and I'm impressed but a few small glitches letting it down. Can anyone tell me why contact numbers are appearing even if those numbers are assigned to names in Contacts? Help!!!!! And how do I fix it????

The only time I've ever had that occur is when a sync with MobileMe didn't work. Is yours hooked up to MobileMe or a Microsoft Exchange server?

This was happening to me as well.

All my numbers were fed in the international dialling code format (e.g. 3538X...). I edited a few back to the normal entry and now the name displays when I receive an incoming call.

Seems strange though to be honest
