    Hi,

I dont know if anyone on the forum has ever heard of Macra na Feirme. Basicially it is a voluntary organisation for people aged between 17 and 35. It is a great way to meet people and to have a good ould time.

One of the preconcieved ideas about Macra is that it is just for farmers, but it is so much more than that.

There are 8 active clubs in Meath - Carnaross, Moynalty, North Meath, Athboy, Kilcloon, Enfield, Longwood, Ardcath.

We organise competitions in everything from debating to tag rugby to farm skills - Definately something here for everyone! We also organise the Blue Jean Country Queen Festival that takes place in Athboy on the June Bank holiday weekend.
