Ring of Kerry tour

    Trying to organise a tour of the ring of Kerry preferably stoping in quaint pubs along the way,
    its to celebrate a birthday and will be a group of around 12 some people from Kerry some not

    any tips and advise are appreciated

    stop in the blind piper and freddies in caherdaniel. it is my favourite area in ireland. the beach down the road from the village is fab (derrynane)

    There's a pub in Portmagee which serves great fish. I forget the name of it, but Portmagee really is worth stopping in.

    The pub in Portmagee is called the moorings, lovely food. And if you come off the ring as far as Portmagee you should definitly take a drive round Valentia. Head for knightstown and have a pint in the royal before getting the ferry back across to the 'mainland' and rejoining the ring
