    Got my letter yesterday.

Don't think I will pay - I hardly ever use the carparks.

Out of interest - do you need a permit to park after 6 or at weekends?

Dunno about weekends, the P&D car parks are free after 6:30 so I would assume the student ones are fair game.Id check with the college tho,the last thing youd want to see after a evening studying is a big yellow clamp on your car. I bloody aint payin for the permit ill tell you that much. They stick up a car park that is equidistant from the college as Moscow and then expect you to pay for the bus aswell!

I think the clampers finish work at 6 but yeah you'd want to double check it.

Student Union says they're trying to fight the whole paying for parking permit thing. And as far as I know if you pay now, it only lasts until September- you have to pay again then for a new term. So if you're not going to be in college over summer there's no point in paying.

Not that I park in the college too regularly, but on weekends ive never paid for parking, and during the week after 6 ive never paid for parking. I do not have any form of parking permit and I have never been clamped....

Guess ill get clamped for saying all this now...
